Celltech’s story

Celltech’s history go back to 1982, when Alexander Batteries was established specializing in batteries for PMR terminals. Later, as the market’s growing need for mobile phones, program expand batteries and accessories for same.

For over 30 years, the passion to develop and improve battery solutions transformed a small local business to an international operator, which has offices in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Cell tech is owned by Swedish Addtech AB, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Addtech’s history goes back over a hundred years back.

Together with our sister companies, we are the market leader and the largest battery supplier in the Nordic countries.

Celltech is among the leading battery, accumulator and power solution suppliers in Denmark. We have been in the business since 1982. Our skilled staff are highly experienced, possessing versatile skills to handle the requirements of our customers.

We specialise in designing and implementing battery solutions. Our extensive product range covers batteries from coin batteries and battery packs to large industrial batteries and large power systems.

Celltech has a vast network of partners developed over several years. Our partners represent the top of technical expertise in terms of production and products within their respective sectors. Our network of partners allows us to produce quality, competitive, comprehensive solutions that bring added value to our customers while addressing their needs.

Together with our affiliates we are able to guarantee an extensive product and service network throughout the Nordic countries.
